Yeah, I know that I haven't posted in a long while. I honestly didn't have any exciting news to share.
I have a new nephew that was born on October 24th. I can't wait to meet him February as I'm sure he is just a doll. No, I don't post pics because this blog isn't private as my facebook page is and myspace.
Christmas is coming up fast and my family is coming down here to visit me. I went there last year so they will be here this. It sounds like a fair trade right.?. I can't wait to see my niece and nephew that I haven't seen since August.
In August I went home for a quick trip to attend a baby shower(nephew above) and to be at my niece's 4 birthday party. I missed my nephew's 1st birthday party so there was no way I was missing this one.
I went to her birthday party and then stayed for awhile. Later on that night I went and hung out with one of my friends. The next day I went to the YMCA with my niece, nephew, sis, brother, and sister-in-law to spend time with them. I miss them more and more everyday. I then went to my other brother, girlfriend's baby shower. This was for the one born on October 24th. It was a great time seeing everyone who I hadn't seen since my grandpa's funeral. It was nice to celebrate joyous occasions and not sad ones. That trip I also brought back my dog, whom I missed so much. She now finally stays by herself at the apartment.
I finally get to enroll at UNC-Chapel Hill in the Spring and I won't have to pay out of state tuition. Yippee! I'll be a resident of NC this November, I honestly can't believe it is going to be a year in about a month and a few weeks. Wow, time has sure flown by since I got down here.
I won't be home until right before or around my birthday to visit. I just don't want to be in an airport where there the potential to get H1N1 if I do decide to fly. I know my hometown and surroundings are having outbreaks of it and I just don't want to risk it either. I am not completely sold on getting the shot either as there is so many unknowns. I am going to research a little bit more and then make my decision. I do know that I won't be getting the H1N1 nasal mist as I haven't read great things about that. If I do decide to get anything, it will be the H1N1 shot and I might also get the flu shot.
I hope everything is going well with everyone else. I hope to see you all in February. I promise to blog more often.
